Description
The glittering Lake Lucerne is one of the largest lakes in Switzerland and lies in a unique panorama. This escorted tour in a comfortable coach will take you to beautiful regions around Lake Lucerne. The city of Lucerne impresses with its fantastic location and a variety of sights. In the alpine village of Engelberg you have enough time for your own discoveries and hikes with a magnificent view of the Titlis.
In the morning at 09:30 you will board a modern bus in Zurich and your tour guide will welcome you. The comfortable coach will take you from Zurich to Lake Lucerne. The journey takes you over the Albis Pass into Central Switzerland. On the way, the tour guide will provide exciting information about Swiss history and explain a few sights along the way. Arriving at Lake Lucerne, there is a short photo stop.
Located right on the water, you'll find the charming city of Lucerne. On a short drive through the city you will get your first orientation points. The tour guide will point out the most important sights, such as the City Hall, the Jesuit Church and of course the Chapel Bridge. You will then have free time to discover the picturesque old town on your own.
Afterwards the journey continues to Engelberg. An impressive monastery characterizes today's village center. You have three hours of free time for your own discoveries. Numerous hiking trails invite you to walk and hike. In one of the cozy restaurants you can enjoy a typical Swiss meal. Hopefully the sky will be clear and you will get a wonderful view of the Titlis.
Later in the afternoon, the coach will take you back to the departure point in Zurich, where the tour ends.
