From Basel: day trip to Gruyères with castle and show dairy

On a day trip, you travel by minibus from Basel to Gruyères. On the way, you visit the cheese factory La Maison du Gruyère.

After that, you continue to the medieval Gruyères. Here, you have free time and explore the medieval place on your own. After visiting the castle there, the journey goes back..

The trip ends again at the meeting point.

Practical Information:

• The bus is air-conditioned
• A folding wheelchair can be taken along
• Passengers must be able to get on and off independently or with the help of a companion
• The castle is accessible only up to the entrance and the lookout point/castle garden
• Folding strollers can be transported in the trunk (must be registered with the organizer after booking)
• Dogs are allowed to ride if they are house-trained

The Gruyère Traditions restaurant offers a typical Swiss cuisine in Gruyère. It is open daily and has outdoor seating in the summer.

• No pets allowed
• Child seats are provided for children over 9 months if booked in advance
