Afterwards, you will visit the "Maison du Gruyère". Le Gruyère AOP is a cheese with a long tradition, and its production has been passed down through many generations of cheesemakers in alpine and village cheese dairies. You will be guided through a modern world of the senses, and our cow Cerise (cherry) will introduce you to the secrets of making Gruyère AOP.
For your lunch, you will spend free time in Gruyères. At the foot of the Prealps, you will be enchanted by the charm and picturesque architecture of the medieval town. Breathe in the pure mountain air and listen to cowbells in the pastures that surround the small suburban idyll. Explore the small town that has remained untouched by the passage of time, it was also voted the most beautiful village. At the end of the day, you will be taken back to Geneva.
In Gruyères, you should use your free time to visit the medieval castle. The fortified castle was built in the 13th century. The castle terrace offers an incomparably beautiful panorama of the foothills of the Alps.
