Description
A drive over the Brünig Pass takes you to the Bernese Oberland, heading to Interlaken in the Jungfrau region. After a short stop, the journey continues to Grindelwald, a popular destination for active vacations. You'll have 3.5 hours of free time to explore the mountain village at your own pace.
First, take a walk through Grindelwald and enjoy the stunning Alpine landscape. If you want to discover the mountain scenery up close, a visit to Grindelwald-First is definitely worth it.
Get ready for some excitement on the “Tissot First Cliff Walk.” This walkway juts out 45 meters into the void. To get there, take the cable car up to Grindelwald-First, also known as the “Top of Adventure.”
Next, you'll travel by bus to Lauterbrunnen, a village nestled between tall cliffs and waterfalls. The Lauterbrunnen Valley, with its 72 waterfalls, has inspired writers like Goethe and J.R.R. Tolkien.
The village features picturesque streets and the impressive Staubbach Falls, the third highest waterfalls in Switzerland. In the afternoon, the return journey to Lucerne begins, accompanied by fresh mountain air and plenty of memories.
