Thun's bridges city tour

The sparkling turquoise-blue Aare flows right through the town. Discover Thun's many bridges that cross the river on this special city walk. What are they called, when were they built and why? After this city tour, you will be an expert on Thun's bridges. The Thun Water Magic shows begin after the guided tours in the fall.

Practical information:

• A reservation is required for participation in public guided tours, the number of participants is limited.
• The tour takes place outdoors. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather.
• Don't forget your water bottles. These can be refilled at the many drinking fountains in the city.
• Public tours are not barrier-free. Accessible group tours are available on request.

In the fall, you can experience free water games after the city tour. They take place every four weeks from the end of September to the end of October. The "Thun Water Magic" takes place in all weathers. The Aare basin is located in Thun city center in front of the Hotel Aare Thun. It is about a five-minute walk from Thun railroad station and about three minutes from Mühleplatz.
