"Night Watchman" Historical City Tour Zurich

You walk with the night watchman through the old town of Zurich. Let yourself be carried away into the dark Zurich of the Middle Ages. On the way you will learn stories from that time about witches, court sentences, executioners and executions.

The Lindenhof is actually framed by linden trees. It stands in the historic center of the city of Zurich on a hill. There used to be a Roman fort here and you can still see some wall remains of it today. Today it is an oasis of calm with an excellent view of the rest of the old town. By the way, an oath to the Helvetic constitution was also sworn here in 1798.
