medieval dressed city guide
multimedia presentation
This city tour takes you back in time to the Middle Ages and into the 18th century. The guide is dressed in medieval costume and tells you scary stories about the past of Lucerne and the Swiss Confederation.
Well-known sights are illuminated in a different light. Right at the beginning you will hear the sound of the fire horn.
You come to the water tower, the Chapel Bridge, the Kornmarkt and the wine market, for example. Everywhere you go, you will learn what happened here centuries ago. The night watchman explains the route of the tour using the 400-year-old Martiniplan. Multimedia interludes (in the dark also with a projector) liven up the city tour.
Practical information:
Just a few minutes from the Chapel Bridge, you will find "Die Kneipe" at Klosterstrasse 5 with its rustic interior. It is open until midnight on Saturdays and provides a lovely backdrop to round off this city tour.
