Murten, the small medieval town near Fribourg, lies directly on Lake Murten and is surrounded by a completely preserved circular wall. Walk along this 12 feet high ring wall from the 12th century and enjoy a unique view. You will look over the roofs of Murten as well as Lake Murten. The wall is accessible in all weather conditions.
