Description
Rheinfelden is and was a famous spa town in the canton of Aargau. World-famous guests met here to relax and escape from the stressful everyday life. Between Paris and Moscow, the small town was the spa center for the rich and beautiful
The tour is guided by Madame Louise de Sancerre in a scenic and wonderfully authentic way. She will show you how a stay at the spa in 1911 took place. You will meet very special personalities during the tour, while the Madame will show you the most secluded and beautiful places of the spa park. Madame Louise de Sancerre is waiting for you in the city park, from where your tour starts.
On the banks of the Rhine is the spa hotel, which today includes a wellness park. It was considered the social center of Rheinfelden for decades. Together with your guide, you will visit this impressive building and enjoy a brine bath in the wellness wing.
The crowning glory is a visit to the brine bath, where you can really relax and try out a cure directly. The Grand Hotel des Salines, one of the central meeting places of the higher society in Kur, offers you the perfect circumstances to end your day
