Rheinfelden's old town is very rich in history. The most important count of the town, Rudolf von Rheinfelden, lived in the Middle Ages and shaped the image of the town like no other. In the courtyard of the town hall you will meet your guide dressed as Rudolf von Rheinfelden and start the tour from there.
On this tour, the actor Roland Graf in the role of Rudolf will take you into the world of the nobility in the Middle Ages and show you how his life was shaped in this town on the basis of original locations, monuments and works of art. On the Inseli there is a whole art installation dedicated to Rudolf of Rheinfelden and his family. You will see an oath hand, a crown and a statue of his daughter, Agnes of Rheinfelden.
The old town is full of references to the so-called "counter-king" of Henry IV. Discover Rheinfelden in a very special way, enjoy the scenic performances of your guide and learn a lot about the town, the church, the nobility and life in the Middle Ages.
