Myths and legends guided city tour Rheinfelden

The small town of Rheinfelden is surrounded by numerous sagas and legends. On this tour you will be guided through the mystical stories that the sights of the old town have to offer. You will meet your guide in the courtyard of the town hall and start the mystical tour from there.

The carillon shows the story of the cunning tailor, which is known throughout the city. St. Martin's Church also offers a wealth of exciting and magical background stories. On the Rhine Bridge, you will also learn about the legends surrounding the underground fault, the St. Anne's Hole.

The fault of St. Anne's Hole is not visible from the shore. This inconspicuous location makes the hole even more dangerous and at the same time even more mystical. In the Fricktal Museum there is even a video of a breakneck dive to the murderous maelstrom in the middle of the Rhine. Thanks to the St. Anna hole, there are important clues for swimmers in the Rhine
