You'll get to know the rebellious people's representative Pierre Péquignat, whose fight ended tragically. Do you know Vouivre, the mythical creature? It feeds on the energy of water and could rise from the dead. And dinosaurs are said to still haunt the streets of Pruntrut. This secret tour is an exclusive, unique experience. In the castle you will experience the splendorous times of the prince-bishops of Basel. They lived here from 1528 to 1792.

You will not only visit unusual places and the most popular places of Porrentruy. You will also experience animations as light and sound representations. They are works of the artist Camille Scherrer. The "Secret Tour" will be an experience for the whole family. For the tour you need about 2:00 to 2:30 hours.

The prince-bishops of Basel were also imperial princes. They ruled in Porrentruy (German: Pruntrut) from 1528, when the bishop's seat was transferred to Pruntrut in the course of the Reformation in Basel. The first prince-bishop was Philipp von Gundelsheim until 1553, who was followed by Melchior von Lichtenfels until 1575. Until 1608 Jakob Christoph Blarer von Wartensee was prince-bishop here and managed to pay off all the debts of the bishopric. in 1792 the north of the prince-bishopric was occupied and the bishopric fell under French rule.
