With your entry ticket, you gain access to the permanent exhibitions at the Château de Prangins. The exhibitions cover topics such as the life of the nobility in the 18th century and global trade history.

The historic vegetable garden showcases old farming methods and regional plant species.

Interactive experiences provide you with deep insights into Swiss history. You can immerse yourself in the Age of Enlightenment and enjoy the atmosphere of the castle and its surroundings.

The Café du Château is located in the former servant quarters of the castle, where the kitchens were in the 18th century. It offers a seasonal menu, daily specials, and desserts that incorporate ingredients from its own vegetable garden. The panoramic terrace provides a beautiful view of the castle park.

• The historical vegetable garden of the Château de Prangins is the largest in Switzerland and an outdoor permanent exhibition dating back to the 18th century

Indiennes. A Fabric Conquers the World:

• Shows the connections between Switzerland and global events such as industrialization, colonization, and slavery
• Part of the Indienne Center includes a study room, a dye plants bed in the vegetable garden, and workshops on the topic of plant dyeing

On Your Journey! Play Exhibition for Families:

• Interactive role-playing exhibition aimed at young visitors
• You determine the course of the journey, varying duration between 5 and 20 minutes
• Among historical exhibits, you experience journeys through Switzerland from the perspective of nine characters from the 18th to 20th century (e.g. as nobles, English travelers, or Ticinese chimney sweep children)

• Immerse yourself in the daily life of a Vaud noble family in the 18th century using the restored state rooms of the Château de Prangins
• Nine thematic rooms illuminate various aspects of noble life, from society and wealth to servitude and literature
• Audioguides and films bring the voices of former castle inhabitants to life and make the era tangible

Walk Through the Enlightenment:

• The free discovery trail in the castle park shows the connection of the Château de Prangins with its surroundings and tells the history of the place right on site
• 21 silhouettes of historical figures, including Voltaire and Madame de Staël, accompany you on your tour through the castle's history.

This ticket can be used for 14 days in the other museums of the Swiss National Museum (National Museum Zurich and Forum Swiss History Schwyz).
