Saxeten Gorge Canyoning for beginners in Interlaken

The tour in the Saxeten Gorge in the Bernese Oberland is the perfect start for a unique water adventure. At the meeting point, you'll meet your guides. Together, you'll prepare the equipment for canyoning. After that, you'll drive about 10 minutes to the starting point of the canyon, the Saxeten Gorge.

At the starting point, you'll receive a thorough briefing. You'll spend the next 1.5 to 2 hours in the canyon. Here you can do optional jumps, slide down natural rock slides, rappel down from climbing spots, and swim through the river. All obstacles can be bypassed on this tour, so you can always decide how far you want to go.

To begin, you'll rappel down 10 m. The highlight is a 5 m jump into the water, which you can also skip if you prefer. The remaining jumps are between 1 and 2 m deep. No canyoning tour would be complete without a rock slide, and the Superman rock slide is the longest on the route.

At the end of the tour, you'll get a drink to refresh yourself, and you'll be driven back to the base.
