Canyon Swing Grindelwald Glacier Canyon

Let your heart race and jump off the 90 m high platform into the canyon below. The Canyon Swing is an adventure like no other.

When you book the tour from Interlaken, you will meet your group and guide in Matten bei Interlaken. Then you’ll be driven to Grindelwald to the Glacier Canyon. If you want to start directly in Grindelwald, you can also travel independently and meet your group in the Glacier Canyon. In that case, you have the opportunity to visit the Glacier Canyon independently after your jump, as the ticket to the canyon is included.

Once you arrive at the canyon, the instructor will explain everything you need to know. After the safety briefing, you’ll get equipped and prepare for the jump. From the platform, you’ll jump off secured by a rope around your waist into the abyss of the canyon. You’ll swing past the rock walls at speeds of up to 120 km/h, just like on a giant swing.

Practical Information:

• Young people between 14 and 18 years old need written consent from their legal guardian. You can request a form for this directly from the provider after booking.
• If you want to bring someone along to watch your jump, please contact the activity provider after booking to discuss availability and any other details.

If you have issues in the throat and neck area, we recommend that you check your jumping suitability with your doctor beforehand. We cannot give an exact assessment of the possible effects on the spine or neck. Your safety and health are our top priority.

You wear a harness that goes high over your shoulders during the jump. The rope is attached in front of your chest. The jump is made feet first, followed by a free fall until the rope catches you and you swing in the gorge.

The maximum weight (including clothing and shoes) is 120 kg.
