The small village of Gunten is located on the northern shore of Lake Thun. Gunten is located on the main road from Interlaken in the direction of Thun. The village is a popular vacation resort all year round thanks to the balanced lake climate. The view goes to the mountains of the Bernese Oberland, the Niesen and the Simmental of Gunten.
