Grindelwald Terminal is a very modern transport hub that connects two valley stations with the regional train station. The terminal was built in connection with the so-called V-project of Jungfrau Railways in the years 2018 to 2020
The terminal ensures short distances and fast connections from Grindelwald to the Eiger Glacier, Jungfraujoch and Männlichen. The Grindelwald Terminal is very well connected with the surrounding area via regional trains and buses.
The Grindelwald Terminal includes two cable car valley stations. The Bernese Oberland Railways station (Rothenegg station) is directly connected to the terminal, as is the parking garage. In level 4 of the parking garage you can also charge your electric car.

Grindelwald, as a traditional vacation region, is equipped with an excellent transport network. The Grindelwald Terminal is located just under 500 m northwest of the Grindelwald Grund train station at Grundstrasse 54. Buses run regularly to other train stations in Grindelwald and Grindelwald Grund.
From Interlaken Ost you can reach the Grindelwald Terminal in only 30 min with the Bernese Oberland Railway from Interlaken-Ost station. The regional train R61 runs every 30 min to and from Grindelwald Terminal.
From Bern it takes about an hour with a change of trains in Interlaken Ost and, depending on the connection, in Spiez.
The journey by car from Interlaken Ost also takes about half an hour The parking garage in Grindelwald Terminal offers 1000 parking spaces and is conveniently booked online. Entry and exit is via a QR code.
By car, you are also an hour away from Bern and take the same route as the train along Lake Thun. At Interlaken airport, turn off in the direction of Grindelwald.
There are two cable cars from Grindelwald Terminal. The latest cable car is the Eiger Express, which halves the journey time compared with the original route by cogwheel railroad to the Jungfraujoch. If you prefer a more leisurely ride, you can take the cogwheel train from Grindelwald Grund to Kleine Scheidegg as before. The price is the same, by the way, regardless of which way you take. The mountain railroads run in Grindelwald all year round (except the Pfingsteggbahn).

Grindelwald is located in the middle of a breathtaking alpine panorama. This paradise for outdoor activities gives you direct access to mountain bike trails and kilometers of slopes. In addition, there are hiking and trail running paths.
The destination stations of the Grindelwald Terminal offer you exceptional outdoor experiences
Even the spectacular ride in one of the brand new cabins of the Eiger Express from Grindelwald is an unforgettable experience. At the Eigergletscher you can hike in summer and ski or sled in winter. With the Jungfrau Railway you can get from here to the Jungfraujoch
You take the Jungfrau Railway through the north face of the Eiger to the highest railroad station in Europe on the Jungfraujoch. At Jungfraujoch you have direct access to the Aletsch Glacier. On the "roof of Europe" you have arrived at 3454 m above sea level. The Sea of Ice, the Ice Palace, the Alpine Sensation, the Jungfraujoch Plateau with a view of the Aletsch Glacier and other attractions await you here.
At Männlichen you have easy to difficult hiking trails at your disposal. The panorama trail to Kleine Scheidegg is considered a particularly beautiful viewing path. The Sennen playground with the 8.5 m high Sennen cow is just as tempting as summer tobogganing with a Gemel or paragliding. In winter you can go skiing and snowboarding, sledging and snowshoeing
