Avalanche Rescue Course
Accompaniment by the experienced rescue team Minschuns
Hire of avalanche transceiver, probe and avalanche shovel
The hike starts at 9:30 am at the valley station of the Minschuns ski area. There you will meet your course instructor. As soon as all participants are present, the course will start.
Together you will go into the snow. During the next 2 hours you will receive an expert introduction to avalanche rescue. You will learn and practice search techniques, probing and excavation for emergencies. You will also learn the routine use of an avalanche transceiver.
The course lasts a total of 2 hours. The course ends at 11:30 a.m. at the valley station of the Minschuns ski area.
Practical information:
If you have more time in the beautiful Val Müstair, then you should definitely hike to the Lai da Rims. This hike is also open in winter and is one of the most beautiful in the region. The glistening lake looks just great in the white landscape. The hike up is easy and the ascent takes about 1.5 hours.
