Hiking ticket Grindelwald - Bort with the Firstbahn

Ride the Firstbahn between Grindelwald and Bort one way or return. The 6-seater gondola takes 11 minutes for a one-way trip. In Bort you have the possibility to visit the alpine playground. Its use is free of charge.

Hikes from Bort (indicated duration is for one-way hike):

• Hiking trail 13 (yellow): Bort to Bussalp (sun path) 1:50 hrs.
• Hiking trail 14 (yellow): Bort - Aellfluh 0:50 hrs.
• Hiking trail 15 (yellow): Bort - Grindelwald (Attention: used for Trottibike descents in summer and for toboggan runs in winter)
• Hiking trail 16 (yellow): Bort- Unterer Lauchbühl - Wetterhorn (gentian path) 1:45 hrs.

Bottom station: Grindelwald (1065 m above sea level) Intermediate station: Bort (1570 m above sea level)

Practical information:

• The valley station is located approx. 8 min walk from Grindelwald train station
• In case of bad weather conditions, there may be service interruptions
• Dogs travel free of charge

• pram and wheelchair should be folded together if possible.
• it is better to register the wheelchair in advance by telephone with the train or directly at the departure station so that everything runs smoothly.

Would you like to combine an exciting downhill run with a mountain hike? In winter you can go by toboggan from Bort to Grindelwald. In summer you have the possibility to rent a scooter. In summer you can also ride down to Grindelwald - if you like
