Küttigen is located near Aarau in a side valley of the Aare. The landscape is characterized by the elevations of the Faltenjura. Situated in the southern Jurapark Aargau, Küttigen is connected with the village Oberhof via the mountain pass Benkerjoch (674 m above sea level). The pass can be reached by post bus from Aarau via Küttigen. It serves as a starting point for hikes to the Wasserflue (900 m above sea level) or to Frick.
